Ms. Janisha Bhattarai, the daughter of late Dr. Rasendra Bhattarai is the President and CEO of Bhattarai Group. She was born in 1980 in Kathmandu Nepal, educated in one of the best educational institutes in Nepal and then did her Bachelor’s and MBA from London, UK. After her higher education she returned to Nepal and joined her father in business. Her father who was, when he died suddenly, acclaimed as the richest person in Nepal. She is not only helping her mother in taking care of the father’s companies (with offices in Kathmandu and New York) along with her mother and sister who is based in NY. Along she, with the entrepreneurial spirit of her decided to carve her own destiny by establishing her own businesses. She established Bhattarai Services Group in 2007. Her guiding role models are her late grandfather Prof.Chooda Nath Bhattarai, who was a famed Scholar and Chancellor and Vice chancellor of Royal Nepal Academy and Mahendra Sanskrit University and her late father Dr. Rasendra Bhattarai. She vows to take the business enterprise to new heights as well completing the humanitarian projects which her father left incomplete. One of her late father’s aims was to establish in Nepal a world class hospital with the specialisation in coronary diseases. She has earmarked location for the hospital and its construction is on the planning stage.
